Vitamins and Actives
Powerful fruit derived alpha hydroxy acids, concentrated with glycolic and lactic acid, increase desquamation (skin slough off) to promote faster cellular turnover for increased brightness and reduced pigmentation.
A powerful alpha-hydroxy acid, lactic acid increases the synthesis of lipids and ceramides, fortifying the skin barrier function and reducing water loss, resulting in skin that is more hydrated, softer and with improved elasticity.
Lactobacillus is a lactic acid producing bacteria classified as a probiotic. Probiotics influence skins immunity, increase hydration and prevent TEWL, improving overall barrier function against environmental insults and UV radiation associated with photo-aging.
Essential antioxidant within the epidermis where it functions to increase collagen production and re-arrange new and existing collagen. Promotes skin desquamation (skin slough off) by increasing cell differentiation and proliferation for a refined surface to skin and reduced fine lines and wrinkles.
Niacinamide - Vitamin B3
This water soluble vitamin suppresses the transfer of melanasomes to keratinocytes to reduce pigmentation and increase brightening of skin. Communicating directly with the skin on a sub-dermal level to increase the skins structural components of ceramides, collagen and keratin for optimal barrier function, increased hydration and skin immunity.
Panthenol - Pro Vitamin B5
This anti-stress (or calming) provitamin of the vitamin B complex, increases and regulates skin hydration. Its hydrating properties provide regeneration of the skin and specifically, the cell formation for deep moisturisation and a smoothing effect on the skin.
Ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate - Vitamin C
Naturally concentrated within the epidermis where it responds to oxidative stress, inflammation, DNA damage and inhibits collagen degradation. Vitamin C brightens skin via the ability to interfere with tyroninase, the enzyme responsible for initiating melanin and the formation of pigmentation in skin.

Composed of non-sulfated glycosaminoglycans, this structural component in the extracellular matrix of our skin, absorbs and traps water from the surrounding environment to immediately hydrate and plump skin. This naturally occurring sugar molecule stimulates dermal fibroblast migration and proliferation to support collagen production and strengthen the skins barrier.
Ubiquinone- Co Enzyme Q10
This powerful antioxidant and cellular energiser prevents and protects cell membranes against lipid oxidation, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. This lipid soluble antioxidant improves the antioxidant capacity of the epidermis to neutralising free radicals generated during UV exposure.
Australian Native Extracts
Australian native species provide a powerful source of naturally occurring antioxidants to neutralise free-radical damage, stimulate the growth of new collagen and increase photo-protection in the skin.
Polyphenolic compounds known as catechins are responsible for the powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action that hinders free radical damage and UV-B photo-damage to skin. With an ability to inhibit collagenase activity, the enzyme responsible for collagen breakdown, structural components are maintained, supporting increased elasticity and tone.
Minimal processing of the youngest buds and leaves, maintains a high level of phenolic compounds known as catechins that deliver potent antioxidant activity against the free radicals. Generated during UV exposure that damages our skin at a molecular level contributing to the formation of lines, wrinkles and decreased skin tone.
This ancient herb is renowned for its adaptagenic ability that promotes physiological stabilisation and a reduced cellular sensitivity to stress. Ginseng stimulates blood flow and microcirculation, which encourages an immune response and promotes detoxification of the skin.
The active compounds of Panax quinquefolius are known as Ginsenosides and have demonstrated anti-inflammatory and anti-allergic activity which indicate suitability for sensitive and problematic skin. Its superior moisturising and softening ability is attributed to its richness in polysaccharides ensuring nourishment and regeneration of tired, dry and mature skin.
The main active constituents of this plant, predominately triterpenes, increase antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase and glutathione and double duty in age defiance to promote the structural components of type -1 collagen, maintaining the integrity of underlying connective tissue and the firmness and elasticity of skin.
The active compounds of polysaccharides, flavonoids, triterpenes and carotenes are highly effective in the metabolism of glycoproteins and on the collagen fibres during tissue regeneration. The high saponins and polysaccharides are useful in increasing moisturisation and soothing the appearance of the skin.
Pomegranate seed oil is a rich source of antioxidants to promote proliferation and pro-collagen synthesis and inhibit the collagen degrading enzyme matrix metalloproteinase. The phenolic components have potent antioxidant activity shown to ameliorate ultraviolet-A- and -B-mediated skin damages.
Papaya Seed Extract
A tropical fruit rich in the enzyme papain, known for its remarkable ability to dissolve dead skin cells making it a superior exfoliant and skin brightener. This fruit seed oil also contains high concentrations of essential fatty acids and antioxidant rich Vitamins A, C & E which hydrate, protect and repair the skin promoting an even skin tone and texture.
Papaya Fruit Extract/Ferment
This powerful fruit derived enzyme act as biological catalyst, promoting keratolytic action in cells to increase cell turnover by gently breaking down the keratin and protein linkages holding skin cells together to facilitate the removal of dead skin cells that can accumulate on the skin’s surface. This encourages youthful skin cells to emerge brighter and more refined.
Aloe vera is renowned for its remarkable healing properties attributed to the anti-microbial, immune-stimulating, anti-inflammatory activities. The active constituent Allantoin has been shown to stimulate epithelialization of the skin, accelerating cellular regeneration & wound repair. The ability to reduce prostaglandin synthesis and pro-inflammatory cytokines associated with inflammation, it can be used on even the most sensitive of skin and serves to reduce inflammation, facilitate healing and stimulate immune response. We love this natural ingredient so much that we utilise it in its more pure form in all our range of serums, cream and cleanser.
This floral extraction is widely used in skincare due to its powerful ability to calm and cool the skin to reduce inflammation and irritation. The main constituents of the flowers include phenolic compounds of flavonoids apigenin, quercetin, patuletin, luteolin, and their glucosides that are potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents beneficial in damaged, sensitive or irritated skin. The essential oil of Chamomile contains Chamazulene which works as an anti-oxidant, targeting the formation and proliferation of free radicals caused by lipid peroxidation, thereby preventing further cell membrane damage and reducing inflammation. These compounds combine synergistically to improve the rate at which damaged skin heals.
Hydrators and Oils
Sodium hyaluronate - Hyaluronic acid
Composed of long chains of non-sulfated glycosaminoglycans, this structural component in the extracellular matrix of our skin, absorbs and traps water from the surrounding environment to immediately hydrate and plump skin. This naturally occurring sugar molecule stimulates dermal fibroblast migration and proliferation to support collagen production and strengthen the skins barrier.
By absorbing moisture from the environment, glycerine’s natural humectant action balances the skin’s natural moisturising factors (NMF’s) to improve skin hydration and thus strengthen the skin barrier. On an intercellular level it helps to minimise dryness and slows the signs of ageing by directly supporting consistent cell maturation for a healthy complexion and smooth skin texture.
With perfect affinity to the skin and the ability to mimic the skins natural barrier, squalane forms a natural component of sebum. Derived from the fruit olive, its antioxidant properties quench free radicals associated with UV radiation, aging and inflammation, thus reducing damage to the skin. With a high ability to penetrate the skin, it deeply hydrates and softens the skin to increase skin elasticity.
